Young Women with Backpacks

Our programs are designed to provide maximum impact for girls pursuing careers in the technology field. 

Tech Talk Tuesday

  • Monthly virtual events

  • Fall on the last Tuesday of every month

  • Education and awareness opportunities covering a wide range of topics

  • Open to all high school students at all class levels

  • Covers tech topics like coding, engineering and technical project management

  • Provides career and college guidance

  • Register here for these events

mentoring Circles

  • Mentoring Circles are a unique way to connect mentors with students

  • Share their experiences and help guide the group on their school and career journey

  • Two mentoring circles: (1) Seniors only (2) Other class levels

  • Runs from September through May

  • Average 2 meetings per months

  • Average 3-6 students per mentoring circle

  • Register here when the window open

Scholarships

  • Designed for high school girls pursuing technology-based degrees

  • Application opens in early February through April each year

  • Two types of scholarships are offered:

    • Merit-based - $500-$1000​ (non-renewable)

    • Need-based - $2500-$5000 (renewable for 4 years with required annual certification) 

  • Student requirements include 3.0/4.0 GPA, good high school standing, attending college in Fall of application year

  • Requirements include 2 essays, 2 letters of recommendation, official high school transcripts
